We are selling an e-book, in pdf format*, about the General Post Office in London in 1844. The account also describes a "secret" department within the Post Office in which letters were intercepted and opened by the authority of the Secretary of State for the Home Department (with an engraving). There are eight pages of text and seven engravings plus a cover and short bibliographical notes. We are offering the material in e-book format because of the scarcity of the original publication.

The original material is no longer within copyright but our version is copyrighted and re-selling rights are not offered.

Once payment has been made we will email a pdf file of the e-book to you. If the resolution sent does not suit your purposes, we are able to send a higher resolution file or an alternative format upon request. Please advise us of the preferred email address for delivery at the time of payment and allow a short period of time for processing during our working hours.
